Objectives

How to navigate diverging artistic positions in a global art market? The objective must be to take a broad look at what is in evidence: aesthetics employed to convey the results of  historical and political analysis, the subjective take on a personal universe, classical photography to document the spirit of our times, or the results of more conceptual investigations. The medium, which clearly has proven to be most versatile and utilitarian for the widest range of purposes is that of photography and thus determines the mainstay of our program.

Photographic devices are feeding virtual reality with megatons of imagery with every blink of an eye. In phantasmagorical chaos, powerful images perculate to the top, pushed forward by the passion of creative individuals.  Inventive minds employ the medium to make sense of the world, to comment, to document etc., and in a collective process – their achievments are eventually recognized – meaning encapsulated in a visual experience preserved for posterity in an object of art.
